Abstract

The quality of education at the kindergarten (TK) level is greatly influenced by the quality of strategic management of school principals, especially in institutions in the partnership ecosystem of foundations and industrial corporations. This gap between reputation and internal accomplishments underlies the urgency of the research. This study aims to analyze the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision strategies, as well as the strategies of school principals in managing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to improve the quality of education. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions by triangulating sources and techniques. The results of the study show, first, that planning is carried out systematically through a semester work meeting derived from the four pillars of the YPPSB Strategic Plan. The research concluded that YPPSB kindergarten principals have carried out the role of strategic leaders that combine data-driven planning, formalized organization, scheduled implementation, multi-instrument supervision, and reflective environmental analysis, while contributing to the development of a strategic management model of school principals in early childhood education units in industrial corporations.
